i’m Alyssa, a 90s baby from the keystone state.

i love cats, cross stitching, various forms of dance (hip hop in high school, a combo of Zumba and pole nowadays), theology, Star Trek (Janeway is best captian), and memes.

i was even in a tech themed meme group on Facebook in the past, but i’ve moved on from that a bit. (though if you knew me from there, don’t be a stranger, i don’t mind a hello :) ).

i also am interested in computers and tech. i’m using neocities as a sandbox of sorts to try out new front end design styles. while i love my stable corporate tech job, it doesn’t give a lot of freedom for trying out new design styles or front end technologies (gotta follow the figma, style guidelines, and internal frameworks...)

outside of front end, i’m interested in cybersecurity. do i have a lot of practical knowledge? no and i’m frankly terrible at computer networking topics. but boy, do i find a good defcon talk riveting.
